Yale R. Levy, an Attorney practicing in Columbus, Ohio, has litigated debt collection cases on behalf of private, commercial, and nonprofit clients since 1995. Attorney Yale R. Levy attended Indiana University Bloomington, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1992. While studying for his undergraduate degree, Levy participated in the activities of Beta Gamma Sigma, a fraternity for accounting majors, and the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity. A member of the university’s honors program, Levy achieved a passing score on each part of the accountancy exam the first time he tested, which is not typical and quite notable.
After graduating from Indiana University, Levy continued his education at The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law in Columbus. He earned his Juris Doctor from Ohio State in May 1995, attaining his Ohio attorney’s license less than six months later. Yale R. Levy is able to appear before the United States Tax Court, the Tenth District Court of Appeals, the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Southern and Northern districts of the United States District Court. He belongs to the Ohio Federal Bar for the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court Bar.
